Cherry Creations contains many delicious recipes using cherries. It is the result of cooperation from many facets of the cherry industry, including chefs, farm-based cooks and others. The National Cherry Festival, an acclaimed family attraction, celebrates the cherry annually.

Much of what you'll find in this cookbook is the result of a continual search by The National Cherry Festival for outstanding recipes. Every year, this organization hosts a recipe search and contest for amateur chefs to cook up what they believe to be unique gourmet cherry fare. The "Taste of Cherries" event collects up to 100 recipes from throughout the Midwest. In cooperation with its sponsors, the National Cherry Festival's Taste of Cherries event produces a scholarship for students pursuing a career in the culinary arts field.
