Cherry Queen Candidate Erin Eckerle

Miss Erin Eckerle

Erin Eckerle is the 24-year-old daughter of Brian John Eckerle and Lynn Marie Henry of Petoskey. She is a 2018 graduate of Petoskey High School and a 2020 graduate of Michigan State University where she studied Human Biology. She served as a board member for MSUs Red Cross and as a participant of Kiwanis Club and Alternate Spartan Breaks-where students utilized spring break to provide disaster relief. Erin was recognized with the MSU Presidential Service Award for her volunteerism and leadership efforts in the community. Driven by her passion for biological sciences and desire to serve others, she hopes to attend dental school in the fall. In her free time, Erin plays clarinet with Encore Symphonic Winds in Traverse City and tends to her familys cherry farm. Erin is a fifth-generation cherry farmer and feels blessed to continue her familys agricultural heritage. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent national and local growers, producers, and enthusiasts and give back to the cherry community that has instilled her work ethic, perseverance, and love of all things cherry. Erin is generously sponsored by Shoreline Fruit.
