Annual Cherry Art Competition
Each year, we engage our local and state students in an art competition surrounding our signature fruit. Since the Commemorative Print program started in 1987, the Festival has received magnificent artwork, all depicting our favorite fruit, the cherry. Currently, the Art Competition contributes over $4,000 in scholarships and prizes to our area students.
This year, the competition categories are 4th grade through 8th grade and 9th through college. The top three winners will receive a scholarship. First place is $1,000, second place is $700 and third place is $500. Other prizes will be awarded to People's Choice winners and category winners.
A huge thank you to
Jentees Custom Logo Gear for supporting the scholarships and
Bulls-i, our official art competition partner, who administers one of the best student art competitions.
The 2025 Student Art Competition is now closed. Check back in the fall of 2025 for details on the 2026 Student Art Competition. The National Cherry Festival's 100th year!
